Cosmetologist program includes the study and practice of all aspects of the beautification and care of the hair, skin, and nails. The program provides for both technical instruction and supervised practical operations of job-related skills such as hair cutting, hair styling, hair coloring, manicuring/pedicuring, and skin care services. Upon completion of this program, the student shall have demonstrated practical competencies necessary to pass the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology written and practical test to become a licensed cosmetologist in the State of California.
